Cecoiya Burriell

I am currently an Exercise Science - Pre Physical Therapy student at Morehead State University in Morehead, KY. I am studying and working to be a massage therapist and an athletic therapist. I am from Louisville, KY. Neither of my parents have a college degree. My mother has always been set on making sure me and my four siblings are taken care of. She has always motivated me to pursue a career and not just have a job that can pay the bills. I graduated from Louisville Central High School Magnet Career Academy in 2018. My magnet that I studied was Finance which lead me to be a member of FBLA for 2 years. I received a Kentucky Occupational Skills Standards Assessment award my junior year of high school. Since I was 13 years old I have been a liturgical dancer. I am a Regional Liturgical Dancer at No More Limits Church and the Youth President. I completed a year at another institution prior to my current institution, only to find out the school was not accredited on a national level, so I had to start over. But despite all that has occurred to me since graduating high school, I refuse to give up.
