About
I am a dedicated single father to a high school senior daughter, a role that has shaped my values, strengthened my resilience, and inspired my commitment to creating a meaningful future for both of us. As the first male in my family to graduate from college, I take great pride in breaking generational barriers and setting a new standard of achievement for those who will follow. My educational journey reflects not only personal determination, but also a deep belief in the power of perseverance and the importance of representation.
Professionally, I have built a thriving career as a Career and Technical Education (CTE) teacher for grades 9–12. In this role, I am able to combine my passion for education with my desire to equip young people with practical skills, critical thinking abilities, and the confidence needed to succeed beyond the classroom. I work each day to empower students, create an environment where they feel safe to learn and grow, and encourage them to pursue goals they may not have realized were within reach.
My identity as a father, a first-generation graduate, and an educator, drives every goal I set and every accomplishment I pursue. I strive to be an example of what is possible through hard work, resilience, and intentional leadership. Whether supporting my daughter as she prepares for her next chapter or guiding high school students toward their future careers, I remain committed to using my experiences to uplift others, open doors, and contribute positively to my community.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
My intended job path begins with continuing to grow as a Career and Technical Education (CTE) teacher, where I can directly empower students in grades 9–12 with the skills, confidence, and critical-thinking abilities they need to succeed. Over time, I aim to expand my impact by moving into leadership and administration roles within the public education system. Positions such as instructional coach, CTE program coordinator, assistant principal, or principal would allow me to influence school culture, support teachers, strengthen academic programs, and help shape district-wide initiatives that improve student outcomes.
My long-term goal is to serve as a leader who advocates for equity, enhances CTE pathways, and ensures that schools provide safe, supportive, and high-quality learning environments. By combining my classroom experience with advanced training from my MBA program, I hope to become an administrator who leads with empathy, strategic vision, and a commitment to uplifting both students and staff. Ultimately, I want to contribute to meaningful, lasting change in education by guiding schools and communities toward better opportunities for every learner.
- Graduate school interests
My graduate school interests focus on developing the leadership, strategic, and organizational skills needed to make a meaningful impact in public education. I am particularly drawn to coursework that strengthens instructional leadership, data-driven decision-making, and school improvement. As a CTE teacher, I want to deepen my understanding of how to build supportive, high-performing learning environments. Graduate studies will prepare me to transition into future leadership and administration roles, where I can advocate for students, support educators, and help strengthen the public education system from within.
