About
My name is Chandler King and I am currently a PhD student at the University of Southern Mississippi in the field of Educational Research. I have been in this program for one year where I have obtain proficiency in statistics, research designs, and program evaluation. In addition to this I am currently a PE teacher at Kate Shepard Elementary. Before being excepted into this program I graduated at the University of South Alabama with a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Physical Education.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
My intended job path is to become a college professor where I can teach about research methods and some form of quantitative analysis. Outside of being a college professor I have also have aspirations to work in a college in the department of institutional research.
- Graduate school interests
I have only been a part of my program for a year, but I have taken an interest in statistics. Statistics is interesting because it is used in several different ways for decision making such as for research studies, government decision making, and financial decisions.
