About

I always knew that a relationship with God was vital. After moving to Houston, Texas I became an active member at Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church in Houston, Texas. At my second home I participates in various ministries including the Young Adults Ambassadors Team, Praise Dance, and College Ministry. In January I participated in a missionary trip in South Africa with the church that drastically changed my view on what it means to be humble and the possibilities God offers when you step out on faith. Life has taught me that "You never know God is all you need until God is all you have." In the pursuit of being the victorious woman God intended me to be, my ultimate goal is to fulfill my purpose and passion in helping others grow spiritually and being a woman after God's own heart.

Goals and interests

Career goal

Born and raised in Victoria, Texas, I was guided and mentored by the zealous women in her family. I knew that investing in my knowledge would take me far. I acquired my Associates’ Degree in Nursing from Victoria College. Thereafter, I received my Bachelor of Science Degree from Texas Tech University Health and Science Center in 2013. Currently providing nursing care in the Medical/Surgical Telemetry department at Memorial Hermann Hospital, I plan to continue my education and work on her Master’s Degree in Nurse Education in Fall 2016

Graduate school interests

Recently accepted into the UT Health Masters in Nursing Education, I will start the program Fall 2016 and finish in 2018. With this degree, I plan on fulfilling my dream of teaching. Initially starting as a patient educator within a hospital and thereafter, a professor to future Nurses of America. I will also like to use the knowledge and skills obtained in graduate school to participate in missionary opportunities overseas.
