About
I am a graduate student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, committed to building a career centered on service, leadership, and meaningful impact. My academic journey has been intentional and progressive. I earned my Associate’s degree from Arkansas Baptist College and a Bachelor’s degree in Family Psychology from Williams Baptist University. I later completed two graduate degrees at Webster University, earning a Master of Arts in Management and Leadership and a Master of Arts in Human Resources Management. These programs strengthened both my understanding of human behavior and my ability to lead with structure, strategy, and integrity.
I am currently advancing my clinical training with the goal of becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor and eventually opening a private practice that serves youth, young men, and families. I am especially drawn to approaches that emphasize empathy, autonomy, and personal growth, as I believe meaningful change begins when individuals feel heard, valued, and empowered.
Professionally, I serve as a Qualified Behavioral Health Provider and Behavior Instructor, supporting youth and families through skill-building interventions, behavioral support, and therapeutic guidance. My direct-care experience has deepened my commitment to advocacy and mentorship, particularly for young men navigating complex life challenges.
Beyond academics and professional work, I am a faithful man, a devoted father, and a committed mentor. My faith grounds me, fatherhood sharpens my responsibility, and mentorship allows me to invest intentionally in the next generation. I strive to model discipline, resilience, and integrity in every space I enter. My long-term vision is to combine clinical expertise with strong leadership to build sustainable, community-centered services that promote mental wellness and generational change.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
My intended career path is to become a Licensed Professional Counselor and build a private practice rooted in integrity, service, and meaningful community impact. I plan to continue strengthening my clinical skills, complete the required supervision hours, and obtain full licensure so I can practice independently, competently, and ethically.
Long term, my goal is to establish a counseling practice that serves youth, young men, and families. I want to create a space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to grow. Beyond direct counseling services, I envision developing a practice that integrates mentorship, community outreach, and leadership development initiatives that address mental health from both individual and systemic perspectives.
My aim is not only to provide therapy, but to build sustainable, community-centered services that promote mental wellness, strengthen families, and contribute to generational change within Black and Brown communities. I am committed to helping reduce stigma, increase access to quality care, and create environments where healing and growth are both accessible and culturally responsive.
- Graduate school interests
My graduate school interests involve providing counseling services to individuals who are ready and willing to take the next step in their growth. Long term, I also see myself stepping into an instructor role and teaching. I would love to give back by helping shape and prepare future counselors.
- Outside the classroom
I enjoy basketball and bowling, catching a good movie, and going out to eat with friends. More than anything, I cherish spending time with my children and watching them grow into who they’re meant to be. Family means a lot to me, and I try to keep that at the center of my life
