About

I am a 2019 graduate of Strayer University earning a Master's of Education in Teacher Leadership, however I am currently seeking to earn a second Master's in early childhood education. My passion for early childhood education came when I brought two beautiful children in the world. I have always had a love, care and passion where children are concerned and seek to become an asset in the school system to make a difference in the lives of children and young adults. I've had the opportunity to work around various age groups of children and have completed Field service hours as a tutor. I've had the opportunity to Implement positive reinforcement strategy to students to mitigate negative behavior, improve students’ language development by facilitating reading and storytelling, provided assistance to children during regular small group learning periods, rendered one-on-one tutorial to each student, with overall focus in the whole group and had the ability to motivate and encourage students by being understanding and helpful to others. I look forward to strengthening and gaining skills, knowledge and experience while teaching, working with and assisting school aged children with the ultimate goal in mind which is to prepare each student for a good future.

Career goal

I am soon to complete the necessary exams and courses to become a full time certified early childhood education teacher in Georgia. I am planning on teaching at an elementary school as I seek to possess my own classroom.

Graduate school interests

After I pass the GACE exam, I will pursue an additional Master's degree in early childhood education

Outside the classroom

During my spare time, I enjoy listening to music, reading, taking peaceful walks, shopping, cooking and going on fun excursions with my children. I especially enjoy spending time with them and seeing smiles on their faces while making moments memorable.
