Goals and interests
- Career goal
I plan on attending North Dakota State University for pre-vet/animal science. I plan on gaining my bachelor's degree and continuing on to veterinary school. I would like to be a large-animal veterinarian working directly with farmers and ranchers in a rural community.
- Graduate school interests
I would like to attend a good veterinary college in Kansas, Iowa, or wherever I can get accepted.
- Outside the classroom
When I am not in school, I enjoy spending time at home on my family's ranch. I especially love to ride and train horses. I compete in rodeo and my events include: barrel racing, goat tying, team roping, and breakaway roping. I enjoy spending time outside hiking, fishing, swimming, skiing, or whatever else keeps me busy. Cooking is another one of my interests. I love to cook with my mom or bake delicious treats. Lastly, I love to spend time with friends and family as much as I possibly can.
