About
My name is Constance Perkins, and I am from Forest, Mississippi. I graduated high school a year early as the class Valedictorian in 2012. After high school, I attended Jones County Junior College for one semester before transferring to East Central Community College. I completed four semesters at ECCC, and I then transferred to Mississippi State University. I am that student who has changed their major a million times before finally settling down. When I first started college, I was very indecisive about where I wanted to take my life. I majored into everything from Computer Science all the way to Pre-Med. I finally found my passion when I chose to major in Elementary Education. I have always wanted to be a teacher, but I never had the path until I decided to just go for it.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
After graduation, I will be applying for teaching positions in my home town. I will teach there for a few years, but my ultimate goal is to move out of my home town and explore other options.
- Graduate school interests
I want to go back to MSU in the future and get my masters before I finally say that I am done with school. I have been in school for so long, but just getting my Bachelors was never the plan. I want to create more opportunities for myself by pursuing higher education.
- Outside the classroom
I love photography, and it is my second passion. I wanted to be a successful photographer at one point in my life, but my life had other plans.
