Corbin Hawkins

In November of 2010 I was diagnosed with leukemia. My life was completely uprooted and my college plans were put on hold. During my chemotherapy I suffered a sever reaction to one of the drugs, and was put in intensive care for three days. I lost all movement on the right side of my body, and also the ability to speak. The next three months I rehabbed everyday with the goal of making it to my sisters wedding, and to start my college journey. Four years later and with a new outlook on life, I've never been more motivated to learn and work to my full potential. I'm extremely passionate about the environment, and look forward to playing a role in it's conservation.
