Goals and interests
- Career goal
I plan to be a high school math teacher in inner-city areas. I want to reach out to students who may not get excited about school and show them that learning can be fun. I want to help students realize their true potential through math so they will be equipped to make a better life for themselves.
- Graduate school interests
I am not entirely sure where I want to attend grad school to get my masters degree in mathematics.
- Outside the classroom
In my free time I enjoy spending time learning about the ocean and oceanic creatures. A relatively new hobby that I have picked up is writing in my lifestyle blog which provides help for people in their twenties dealing with dating, school, and body image issues. Whenever I get the chance I play in a pickup soccer league through Biola as well.
