About

As a legally blind, 39 year old returning student i have had some significant challenges to overcome. But, as of this writing, in the 1st semester of my 4th year in Astrophysics, and a couple of retake classes showing, I am very proud of the 3.23 GPA that I have right now.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I intend to work locally as a TA and Math/Physics Tutor in the short term, then work for L3Harris, helping to construct and maintain the satellites which they are known for designing and launching. In the longer term, I intend to participate in a couple of think tanks, participate in graduate study and research, and eventually obtain a position it a company like Space X or Blue Origin in operations management, for example. I excel in management roles and I have a Natura aptitude to quickly recognize strengths and weaknesses of a team and delegate work in a way that maximizes both efficiency and a feeling of fulfillment for the people on the team. And, I absolutely love innovation technical problem solving under pressure. A position like this lends itself to my strengths and my interests.

Graduate school interests

I am interested in MIT, Cambridge or Oxford Universities overseas or the CERN School among others for grad work.

Outside the classroom

I love to sing, play chess, participate in research and think tanks for cosmology, physics and math theory (number, graph, category, etc...), playing DnD (when I have the time) tutoring and generally just improving the lives of anyone within my social reach.
