Goals and interests

Career goal

Elementary level Reading Specialist

Graduate school interests

My graduate school interests lie in pursuing an advanced degree in reading education or literacy education, with a focus on elementary and special education populations. I am particularly interested in exploring areas such as early literacy development, assessment and intervention for struggling readers, reading instruction for students with disabilities, and culturally responsive reading instruction. I am open to various program formats, such as a Master's in Education (M.Ed.), Educational Specialist (Ed.S.), or a program that allows me to specialize in reading within a broader special education degree. Ultimately, I aspire to become a reading specialist who can effectively support the diverse literacy needs of elementary students.
