I am currently pursuing my online Executive MBA (EMBA) through Washington State University’s (WSU) Carson College of Business (CCOB). The online EMBA program is designed for working professionals who want to raise the bar in their career and life. This program is helping me to continue to develop advanced business and leadership skills. All classes are held online and are condensed into 5 weeks. One of the main advantages of this WSU program is that, for the most part, classes are only taken one at a time. With the classes being so condensed, the workload each week can be demanding, so only needing to focus on one subject at a time is beneficial. Another advantage of the program is that it is held online. This allows the students to attend from anywhere, home, office, or while traveling. If the student is not able attend the live session, they can watch the recorded session.
This program has been great for me as I am over halfway through the courses (currently taking 9th course of 15 total) and have been able to network with some amazing fellow students and outstanding professors. I currently have been able to maintain a 4.0 GPA all while sustaining a healthy work/life/school balance. In addition, I will be lucky enough to partake in the EMBA Study abroad this Summer and will be traveling to Dubai for a week.
