About
I began my educational path at Palo Alto Community College. I received my associates in social work. I then transferred to Our Lady of the Lake University to pursue a bachelors in social work. Over time is felt social work was not right for me. I then met with the sociology department advisor and he influenced me to go into sociology. In May 2016 I will graduate will my bachelors in sociology. In the fall of 2016 I plan on continuing my education by entering the sociology graduate program, which focuses on community health. The graduate program will prepare in engaging in the community and through internships broaden my career networks.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
My educational path in sociology influences me to pursue a career in a non-profit organization. community health is a major problem due to ill-educated residents and lack of resources.
