About
My name is Destiny Polk and I am a current transfer student at the University of Texas at San Antonio. In High School I found a good way to keep my grades up was by staying active and being in as many programs as possible that were interesting, such as Skills USA, Interact Club, National Honors Society, National Technical Honors Societ, volunteering and Soccer. By participating in these oppurtunities I found myself excelling academically and socially; I wanted the same principle to apply once I furthered my education to test my capabilities by succeeding my comfort zone. Through my decision to join an organization who partakes in leadership skill, which is something I am currently lacking, I'd love to improve myself academically and intellectually.
