Dominique Infante

My name is Dominique Infante! I am from Lubbock, Texas and I am one piece to a family puzzle of four. My amazing parents, Pete ad Gracie Infante have always been super supportive when it came to the goals and dreams of myself as well as my younger brother. I am studying Counseling online with Southwestern Assemblies of God University. As some may know, Counseling can and will be a very challenging major and many people have told me about the difficulties I may face early in my career as a Counselor. However, this has not stopped me. In fact this only encourages me to try harder. The first year in a half that I began school with SAGU, I was involved in an internship, called Impact Now. Based in San Antonio, Impact Now's mission is to creatively prepare students to impact the world with the gospel. Because of this training, I was able to participate in skits, help set-up media production, I was able to preach at different churches, and travel all through Texas, the United States, and we even traveled to Israel. This school not only help set a firm foundation in life but introduced me to my calling, Counseling. I decided take two summer courses to complete my associates and as the Fall semester approaches I will be ready to begin classes for my BA. A personal vision of mine, is to use my gifts and skills to reach individuals in this generation and cultivate spiritual growth within their lives. I desire to help them understand not only who they are but to whom they belong to. My goal is that with every soul I come in contact with, I want to express the love of God.
