About

I am currently enrolled as a full-time student and working part-time in school-related work at a local business. I absolutely love the field of work I'm in, and cannot wait to see what a lifetime in this environment will look like. I will be transferring upon completion of my degree into an Energy Engineering program.
My core value is honesty. You can take nearly every other positive attribute or characteristic that is "good" and wrap it up in this blanket term of honesty. Hard-working, ambitious, caring, and so much more. I believe in doing what's right, and doing what's right brings a lifetime of happiness, regardless of where you end up or how much money you make.

Education

  • University of Pittsburgh

    Energy Engineering Technology

    2022 – 2026

  • Jamestown Community College

    Mechatronics

    2020 – 2022

Goals and interests

Career goal

I will be an engineer specialized in controls. Familiarity with partnering technologies is useful and a Controls Engineer has a pretty broad spectrum as to what field of focus he or she can shift into. I'm totally fascinated with the future.

Renewable energy and robotics are two emerging technologies that once fully surfaced, will be far more prevalent than their predecessor. I want to be on the cutting edge of technology. Making discoveries for new ways to program robots. Aiding in breakthroughs for affordability in solar panels. The expulsion of greenhouse gases. All of it. They all intertwine in their own sophisticated way. And I would like to work at the Gigafactory 2 for Tesla in Buffalo, NY.

Graduate school interests

I haven't had a reason to think this far ahead yet. I'm someone who's always hungry for more knowledge and any opportunity to get better at what it is I'll be doing in the engineering field. If provoked, I would definitely go, but affordability is a major obstacle living on my own.

I will be going to University of Pittsburgh this coming fall.

Outside the classroom

Puzzles, small-scale robot builds, Tech Club (co-founded by my buddy and I), kayaking, hiking, helping out family when they need me
