Edith Larios

As a first-generation college student, my journey to obtain a higher education began at Palomar College. Currently, I am a transfer student attending Cal State University San Marcos, where I focus my energy on my studies as a full-time Literature and Writing Studies Major with an emphasis in writing. Since I have always loved to read and write, my major is the perfect fit for me because it allows me to incorporate my passion for literature and writing with my passion for learning. My next academic goal is to attend law school in order to serve my community, help others, provide a voice for the voiceless, and act as an agent for justice. When I am not preparing for class related assignments or studying for exams, I can be found volunteering with the Escondido Humane Society and the Escondido Public Library Adult Literacy Program.
