About

Growing up in New Jersey, soccer became the foundation of my confidence, discipline, and resilience. After losing my father—who was also my coach and biggest supporter—to cancer during the COVID-19 pandemic, I struggled with grief, identity, and motivation. Despite these hardships and experiences of racial discrimination in high school, I gradually rebuilt myself through therapy, faith, family support, and reconnecting with soccer. Returning to the sport taught me that true strength comes from perseverance and the courage to rise after setbacks. Now accepted to Montclair State University to continue my academic and athletic journey, I am committed to honoring my father’s legacy while continuing to grow as a student-athlete and leader.
