About

I am a 20-year-old social work student, part-time volleyball coach, and "the favorite" aunt to 7 great kids. I love to make connections with other people and want to take that further through social work. I want to be able to help people in need, find resources for themselves, and help others find the strength within themselves.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I plan on working for a non -profit organization in the helping field post-graduation while obtaining my masters. After a few years of experience in the states, I would like to travel and work internationally in crisis zones and other pertinent areas related to my degree. Hopefully, when I return I will be able to complete my Ph.D. in Social work and begin to counsel. Toward the end of my career, I would love to teach while being involved in my local community.

Graduate school interests

After completing my bachelor's in Social Work, I plan to earn my masters and eventually my doctorate.

Outside the classroom

When I am not playing or coaching volleyball, I have 7 beautiful nieces and nephews who I love to spend time with.
I am also a reseller which is a fun way to explore, find creative ways to market items, and make a little bit of extra cash, but don't get me wrong it takes a lot of hard work.
