Elissa Dedinsky

Senior at Indiana University, Bloomington (IU) pursuing a major in Telecommunications with a specialty in Media and Society, a major in Spanish, and a minor in Latino Studies.

Throughout my recent years at Indiana University, I have pursued an education and experiences that would enhance both myself and others. My involvement with IUDM, Friends of Honduran Children, and riding in the Indiana University Little 500 have all helped me create my philosophy - that knowledge is further deepened outside the walls of the classroom. This philosophy has developed a passion for traveling, which has not only opened my eyes to new cultures, but also has forced me to see different worldly perspectives. These understandings have only further developed my zeal to work with others.

I have many years of experience working in retail and special events in order to enhance my skills in communication and customer service/satisfaction. Through these years, one company changed management and leadership many times, and I have learned to adapt to changes of superiors; I am open, flexible, and willing to learn about new ways of efficiently accomplishing tasks.

I love both spoken and visual communication and am currently seeking post-graduate opportunities that combine both creative thinking with communication - preferably using Spanish speaking and reading skills.
