My passion is writing. I've taken Creative Writing every year in high school.

Georgetown's Creative Writing Academy

My writing earned me acceptance into Georgetown's Creative Writing Academy over the summer of senior year. I engaged in creative writing exercises seven hours per day, attended lectures and participated in group discussions.
Denison Reynold's Young Writers Workshop

I was one of 48 students selected from across the country to participate in Denison University's Reynolds Young Writers Workshop the summer of junior year. I participated in workshops and attended lectures. My poem was published in the school's magazine..

Career goal: I'm interested in a career in publishing so I can combine my love for reading with my love for writing. It's almost like I should pay to do it!
Graduate school interests: Track, community service
Outside the classroom: Surfing, guitar, yoga, reading

Wellness Advisor

I work at Yoga Six, a national yoga studio chain. My job is to greet and check-in guests, utilizing strong communication and interpersonal skills. I open, close, and clean the studio, as well as juggle phone calls, answer customer questions, and retail sales.

I created a company during the pandemic to raise money for the CDC's Covid Research Program by crafting face shields with floral designs.
