About

I am a driven, faith-filled dual-enrollment student with a 4.0 GPA and a lifelong commitment to serving others. At 13, I founded Confetti Cards by Ellie, a handmade greeting card business built on the belief that kindness should be spread generously. For five years, I have volunteered at SECU Family House, building relationships with families navigating some of life's hardest moments. I am a certified CNA, an honors student, and someone who finds purpose at the intersection of compassionate care and genuine human connection. My academic and professional pursuits are guided by a simple but powerful conviction: people deserve to feel seen, valued, and cared for.

Goals and interests

Career goal

My goal is to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. I am currently pursuing an Associate Degree in Nursing through the Health Sciences Pathway, with plans to bridge into a BSN program and eventually complete my master's degree. I hope to practice in a setting where I can provide whole-person, relationship-centered care — particularly for underserved or vulnerable populations.

Graduate school interests

I intend to pursue a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a focus on Family Practice or, alternatively, a Master of Physician Assistant Studies. I am drawn to advanced practice roles that allow for both clinical depth and meaningful patient relationships over time.

Outside the classroom

I love handmade crafting — especially card-making and creative paper arts. I enjoy spending time with horses and working outdoors. I am also passionate about baking, meaningful conversation, and finding small, intentional ways to brighten someone's day.

Experience

  • customer service

Local Bakery I gained customer service, teamwork, and time management experience working in a fast-paced bakery environment, consistently balancing quality and care in everything I produced.

  • Volunteer (5 Years) I have dedicated five years to serving families at SECU Family House, a lodging facility for those traveling to receive medical care.
