Paid Internship at Minnesota Varsity League at At fifteen, I was able to learn all the behind-the-scenes of how an esports league ran, and I have been working at MNVL ever since. I create content for them on their various social media sites including memes, graphics, long-form content, and clips from their streams. I also monitor the chat messages when a match is in session.

About

I am passionate about gaming and in particular, playing Minecraft. I have been the captain of my high school team since 9th grade. In my rookie season, I participated in two national competitions. I placed 12th in the first competition and 15th in another Minecraft game. I have been crowned four-time all-star, and have three 2nd place medals, and one 3rd place medal over the years. I was offered a paid internship with the league (MNVL) I play in. Due to my proven strategy, and leadership abilities, I have been named the president of all eSports leagues at my high school. I strategy help coach players in all esports games. Additionally, I am a participant in two national honor societies.

Goals and interests

Career goal

What I want to do in the future is create an esports league for the sole purpose of donating to those in need. The homeless, food banks, air, and water pollution, and more. I believe that my proven social media skills will help me with marketing games, and esports will help me work doing what I love, as well as grow the industry by tikkun olam (repairing the world).

Graduate school interests

University of North Dakota offers a master's degree in esports management.

Outside the classroom

I like to read and create graphic novels. I like learning about gems. I like my mom's cooking and look forward to using the recipes. When I compete in Minecraft challenges, my moniker name is Rubster Panda. So, I love Pandas too!
