It is often said that people will have many jobs throughout their lives, and I can attest to this from my own experience. For the last decade, I have worked in the entertainment industry, performing on Broadway and in TV and film. Recently, I had the opportunity to work on "The Music Man" with Hugh Jackman on Broadway, which was a thrilling experience. Although I have always been passionate about theatre, the pandemic shook up my life and forced me to consider other options. With theatres closed, I found myself completing a Bachelor of Science in General Studies with honors. During this time, I discovered a new passion for healthcare and gained experience as a Medical Assistant and Scribe. I also completed prerequisites for Nursing school, and after three years and one degree later, I am finally pursuing my dream of becoming a nurse! When I'm not studying you can find me outside with my dogs, in the pool swimming, or baking. My family is my support system and I'm so lucky to have them by my side through this next phase of my life.
