About

I was a Forensic Psychology student at Southern New Hampshire University online and graudted Magna Cum Laude in November of 2023 . I grew up in a small village called Port Chester in New York. After living their my entire life I decided, while in high school, that I wanted to leave for college and most likely plant roots somewhere else. My whole life my mother and I watched crime shows, both true and fake, which is what first peaked my interest in forensic psychology. As I got older and did more research I began to realize that this was something I could see myself doing for a long time. After graduating high school and getting married I ended up moving to North Carolina. I first went to a local community college to complete my general education courses and solidify what I truly wanted to do in life, once that was done I applied to SNHU for their BA in Psychology with a concentration in Forensic Psychology. I am currently in the process of completing my BA and trying to decide where I intend to go for my masters program as well as narrowing down what my masters degree will be.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I am currently studying to become a forensic psychologist. My major is Psychology and I added the concentration of Forensic Psych as well as a child and adolescent development concentration.

Outside the classroom

I have grown up around music and books my entire life. I was in the High school marching band from my 7th grade year to my senior year as a color guard member and in the winter I participated in the Winter Guard program. Outside of the high school marching band I was also in the color guard for a DCA Drum Corps.
I enjoy reading during my free time, when I was in elementary school I was a few levels behind when it came to reading so it was never fun, once I began getting extra help I jumped ahead of my class in reading and have enjoyed it since then.
