About
Due to hardships my grandpa faced, and my history teacher, I discovered biomedical engineering as a possible career field. The idea both invigorated and terrified me. I decided that no matter what, the temptation was too strong, and I had to pursue this dream that had been planted in me. I had to nurture this new idea that I could change lives. Something that would give back to those who had lost so much. I needed to make the world better, even if only one person at a time.
I want to advocate for the environment and make a better future for everyone in every generation to come. The earth is in need of healing.
I have planned service and volunteering projects in my neighborhood.
While none of us know what the future holds, I'm getting every penny I can to get a college education to make lives change for the better, make steps towards healing the earth, and find more ways to support my community.
I'm working on starting up my own jewelry business since I've made jewelry since I was around 6. I plan to use this money to help support my family and my college journey.
I have earned 3 cords and one award to wear for graduation. I have received a cord for being in the top 10% of my class for academics, a cord for receiving the Diploma of Merit, and my technically school gave me a cord for completing 3 classes in the same field. I also received an award for preparing for college and career while still in high school, the highest award my technical school can provide.
