About

I have had the privilege to serve in multiple roles in emergency services and am a recognized professional in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) for emergency preparedness in the tri-state area of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. I’ve been involved in disaster response and preparedness since 1993 when I first volunteered as a fireman in Southern Chester County PA. I’ve assisted in the coordination of multiple EMS Strike Team deployments and served in various leadership roles. Additionally, I’ve partnered with peers to deliver EMS Leadership courses educating new and evolving EMS leaders.

I am recognized by the United States Department of Homeland Security as a Master Exercise Practitioner. This coveted designation confirms my dedication to maintaining a high level of professionalism and capability in Emergency Management, specifically relating to emergency exercises and preparedness. I’ve participated in the design, execution, and evaluation of over 1000 emergency exercises ranging from orientations through Full-Scale exercises. An example includes: a Joint Law Enforcement/Health Epidemiological Investigation involving bioterrorism at several major metropolitan landmarks with over 1200 victims; and another involving the Capitol Response Region in Maryland.

Additionally I am a fulltime-devoted father of five children in a blended family, married to my best friend whom I adore and love; she truly completes me. I enjoy spending time with my family and experiencing life to the fullest.
