About
I’m an aviation student at Liberty University, Class of 2029, working toward a career as a professional pilot. Right now, I’m doing my primary flight training at Mason Jewett Field in Michigan. Each lesson, whether it’s pattern work, crosswind landings, stalls, or slow flight, is helping me build the foundation I’ll need for my future in aviation.
Once I earn my private certificate, I plan to move right into my instrument rating, commercial pilot certificate, and multi-engine rating. After that, I’ll work on building flight time and experience so I can qualify for the Airline Transport Pilot certificate. My long-term goal is to fly for a major airline and eventually become a captain.
I’m drawn to aviation because it takes skill, discipline, and an obligation to always learn. Every flight is different, and I appreciate a career where preparation, good judgment, and attention to detail genuinely count. I hold myself to high standards in both the classroom and the cockpit so I can become the kind of pilot others can rely on.
Outside of my scheduled training, I’m setting up a home flight simulator to practice procedures and keep my competencies sharp between lessons.
I’m always happy to connect with other students, flight instructors, and aviation professionals. If you’re in the industry or following a similar path, feel free to reach out. I’d love to learn from your experience.
