About
My name is Holly Frerichs and I am currently a student at East Tennessee State University. I am studying in the field of Sports and Leisure Management, with a concentration in Parks and Recreation. I have been working in Leisure services since I was sixteen, and I have always been passionate about the outdoors. I want to work in the recreational field because I want to be able to help others realize how beautiful the world around us is, and how to make the most of their lives in it.
Honors and awards
-
Tennessee State FFA Degree
-
Academic Performance Scholarship: Dean's List
ETSU scholarship based on academic achievement.
Goals and interests
- Career goal
There are many directions I can go with this degree, but my dream job would be to work as a National Park or Forest Ranger, or a camp manager.
- Outside the classroom
I enjoy anything outdoors. From hiking to whitewater rafting and kayaking, to biking and sightseeing. I am also into photography, and have recently began shooting action sports, particularly mountain biking.
