About

My name is Gabrielle Morris. I love science, and found the love while in college my first semester. College has opened my eyes to a new side of learning--very hands on and has improved my personal responsibility significantly. If I could go school for the rest of my life while someone took care of me financially, I would do it in a heartbeat. Fun fact: I seem to have a gift for creating study guides. When I need side cash, I'll turn my class notes and book readings into study guides and sell them for $5 to help my classmates on tests.

Goals and interests

Career goal

My lifetime goal is to eventually prove to all companies that going green doesn’t have to hurt their business, but rather increase their success when taking their company in an eco-friendly direction. The future of the world depends on many companies, factories, and homes to take greener steps. I want have a strong knowledge base on the environmental sciences and business so I can enter the world that contributes to “going green."

Graduate school interests

I plan on furthering my education in graduate school at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. I wish to receive a Master's of Business Administration.

Outside the classroom

I am a hula-hooper. I love to practice and do exciting tricks! I also enjoy being outside in the sunshine and running. I am an avid journaler. I have been journaling a few times a week in composition books ever since I was in the seventh grade. I have one for each school year and have benefited personally from being able to read, reminisce things I wouldn't have if I didn't journal, and get an overall feel as to what I was thinking, feeling, and doing each year as I grew up. I find it very important to write for I have learned that writing my feelings or thoughts that I can't or don't have an opportunity to discuss with others gives me some sort of psychological relief or allows me to avoid bottling things up.
