I have been on the Dean's List since I started college in the fall of 2011.
Goals and interests
- Career goal
My ideal job position would include being an educator in the second or third grade. Although any grade will be amazing, at the age of 7-9, students still find school to be fascinating and are excited to learn. I want to be able to be a role model to my students and allow them to feel secure to come to me for any reason at all.
- Graduate school interests
I plan on extending my education after completing my bachelors in Elementary Education by completing my Masters Degree in Reading Specialist from the University of Michigan-Flint. In doing so I will be able to work one on one with individuals on their reading struggles and be able to set up targets and small activities to improve their struggles.
- Outside the classroom
My hobbies include traveling, scrapbooking, coaching soccer and spending time with my boyfriend and family.
