About

I am an adult learner pursuing my Bachelor of Business Administration at Strayer University with a 4.0 GPA. Returning to college has given me the opportunity to rewrite my educational story with greater discipline, purpose, and confidence. Alongside my studies, I work full time in healthcare revenue cycle management and pursue entrepreneurial ventures focused on creativity, service, and community impact.

My long-term goals include growing Confessions Candle Company into a nationally recognized brand and establishing Next Chapter Family Services to support families navigating challenging transitions. I am passionate about entrepreneurship, financial empowerment, leadership, and creating opportunities that strengthen underserved communities. My journey reflects my belief that it is never too late to recommit to your goals, invest in yourself, and build a meaningful legacy.

Goals and interests

Career goal

My intended career path combines entrepreneurship, executive leadership, and community service. I plan to use my business education and professional experience to expand Confessions Candle Company, establish Next Chapter Family Services, and build additional service-based businesses. As these ventures grow, I intend to create employment opportunities, promote financial empowerment, and provide valuable resources to families and communities. I also plan to continue advancing into leadership roles where I can improve operations, develop effective teams, and contribute to organizational growth.

Graduate school interests

After completing my bachelor’s degree, I am interested in pursuing graduate education in business administration, organizational leadership, or entrepreneurship. I am considering earning an MBA followed by a doctoral degree, with the long-term goal of becoming a stronger executive, entrepreneur, researcher, and community leader. Graduate study would help me strengthen my knowledge of business strategy, organizational development, leadership, and sustainable growth while preparing me to expand my businesses and contribute meaningful research within the field.

Outside the classroom

My hobbies include gardening, candle making, traveling, learning Spanish, and exploring creative approaches to branding and entrepreneurship. I also enjoy personal development, spending time with my family, discovering new music, and supporting activities that strengthen my community. Many of my interests inspire my entrepreneurial ideas and allow me to combine creativity with meaningful service.
