Throughout my life, I have always strived to be goal oriented, demonstrating a passion to
achieve the goals that I have established and aspiring to reach my fullest potential. I have diligently worked to achieve academic success while in the midst of participation in many extra- curricular activities. I believe I am the ideal candidate for this scholarship due previous accomplishment and I am willing to complete any and all work necessary to meet my career goals. I have developed a passion for Nursing and I know I will thoroughly enjoy making a reall difference in the lives of others. Being awarded a scholarship would serve as even further motivation to become a successful nursing student. Although I know that there will always be challenges along the way, I am confident that my hard work and motivation will pay off.

After completely my associates this coming May, I plan to attend Wright state next fall to pursue my future in Nursing.

I have always enjoyed a challenge in order to achieve my goals. An example of this is baking. In the summer of 2019 I started a small, yet successful baking business called “Goodies by Grace” that required countless hours of diligent work. I was creating wedding cakes, birthday cakes and cupcakes for events, French macarons, and countless other desserts with perfection being my goal. My willingness to learn and develop new skills has allowed me to stand out from the crowd and will serve me well to achieve future success.

I also am very involved in my church, volunteering frequently, and often serving as a babysitter. I have learned how to develop responsibility and manage time wisely to for participation in these activities while continuing to keep academics at a high priority.
