Guan Wang

I'm currently an international student in USC(Sniversity of Southern California). My major is Electrical Engineering, and most of my courses are focused on digital VLSI.
Since my early childhood, I have been interested in game console, PC game, and etc. For me, these electronic products were some “magical items” which had a supernatural power, full of charm and mystery. It is just beyond my imagination that how those complicated and exciting games are displayed by a seemingly fairly simple “square box”.
In my undergraduate, I have tried hard to seek a satisfactory answer and firmly chose Microelectronics as my major in Jilin University (JLU). Along with the accumulation of my specialized knowledge, I have step by step uncovered the mystery veil on the amazing electronic products. Quantum Mechanics, Semiconductor Physics, Digital Electronic Technique, Analog Electronics Technique, and etc, these broad and profound courses allow me to have an in-depth comprehension on micro-world.
However, my ultimate goal is to become a pusher of human development, do a contributing work in the technological innovation of electronic products. The general idea of how those things work is not enough. So I applied for a master degree of EE in USC, and choose the field of study as digital VLSI.
Now. in the this summer(2014), I get an internship position in Micron technology. I'm in the group of datapath design of flash memory. I'm very interested in the job that I have now.
