Hailey Logan

My name is Hailey Logan, I am a 21 year old student attending Skagit Valley College. I decided to start my higher education because I have always been taught throughout life that even with life skills such as hard and soft core skills or even social skills, that an education is extremely important. During my childhood I would watch my mother work everyday to run her very own successful cleaning business which allowed me to believe that I could do what she does as a business owner. This caused a peak of interest in myself to learn how to apply my own skills in the very same way in the future. With the business management degree I have been working towards I will be able to fulfill many goals of mine, one of them being able to own my own business and start a career path in something I am truly passionate about which is art.
All my life I have been asked what I wanted to be when I grew up but I had no idea. Until these last few years I’ve been able to identify my passion in business. My past teachers and employers have expressed that I have the drive and ability to plan out my future and successfully achieve my goals in the business industry. I am a capable, dependable woman who has learned many new problem solving skills and is open to learning many more- but during my years as a student I struggled in my education. During my childhood my parents endured a long divorce resulting in my mother, sister, and I becoming homeless for a bit of time. Leaving us to still recover from the aftermath of the situation. I have been a hardworking and driven student who has overcome many challenges in my life, which has also given me the passion and drive to work towards my career and bettering my future life.
