About
I am a mechanical engineering major at the University of Colorado Boulder. I am also a student athlete and am the captain of the women's basketball team at my school. I have always been incredibly interested in the intricacies of the body and the amazing things that it is able to accomplish, and am fascinated by the idea that engineers may be able to recreate and even improve the functions of the body. My interest lies in biomechanics, and I hope to go into the field of prosthetic design and engineering once I have finished school. I plan to go to graduate school after I graduate and get a master's in mechanical engineering in order to dive deeper into the subject of biomechanics and work on some research projects related to the improvement of prosthetic design and prostheses themselves.
