Goals and interests
- Career goal
I intend to start my career as an interpreter for the deaf after receiving my interpreting license. After having experience within the deaf community by serving as an interpreter, I would love to work within the deaf community in other ways such as teaching sign language to hearing families who have deaf children, helping families get their deaf children involved in a deaf school and community, and providing them with resources and information to help their child(ren) succeed.
- Outside the classroom
Some of my hobbies include playing guitar, singing, working out, hiking, and pretty much anything outdoors. I also love spending time with my family, friends, and community.
