About
My name is Haley McWilliams and I am a 2nd grade Math/Science/Social Studies Teacher. I graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2013 with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies EC-6 Generalist. I have been teaching for four years now, and I know that I have chosen the right career path for me. I love working with children everyday and inspiring them to chase after their dreams. It is such a rewarding job, and I just moved to the school that I grew up in, Barbers Hill ISD.
As much as I love teaching, I want to be and do more. I am currently in Graduate School at Lamar University where I am pursuing my education in Masters of School Counseling. My goal is to become an elementary school counselor where I can work with children in all the young grade levels and help reach out and change lives.
