About

I am currently a student at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama. This is my hometown where I was born and raised. I grew up with a bog family with many traditions and values of how important family is. Most importantly it has always been my nature and passion to lead children the best way possible. As a kid I would was play school and teach the "students" or even after school help and tutor kids in the neighborhood. For this very reason I am majoring in Elementary Education and wish to become an elementary school teacher in my area. I am a proud member of my church's youth ministry and look forward to becoming a youth leader. The younger kids look up to me as a person who can guide and lead them through their faith as well as their lives. As of now I am employed with my church's daycare and I take care of the infants and also participate with the older kids.

Goals and interests

Career goal

My goal is to become an elementary school teacher and in the future become a principle of a school. I would like to teach the younger generations because they are our future and they should be treated as such. As time progresses I wish to have an after school care similar to the Boys and Girls Club and create a space for children especially in areas that need that particular space the most.

Graduate school interests

After graduating with my bachelors in Elementary Education I will soon partake in studies to achieve my masters degree in this major.

  • Nanny

After graduating early from Baker High School I became a nanny to a wonderful family. My job was to take care of the parents two loving daughters while they were away at work. Throughout the school week I would pick them up from school and return to their home. The routine consisted of a healthy after school snack and helping with the oldest daughters homework. Also helping the youngest daughter with her potty training. Lastly we spent the rest of the day having much needed fun and finally saying our goodbyes once their parents returned.
