Haylie Summers

I'm from Panama City Beach, FL and recently moved to Orlando in the Fall of 2016. Back home I was extremely involved in the community and was busy every second of my life. I danced mostly and was a board member and almost president of the International Thespian Society of my high school for troupe 6371. I consider myself fairly good at technical theatre and have mixed emotions for the career field of it because of how many people are going into it now a days and I feel like I would never have a shot. Therefore; I want to be a teacher somehow. I started working at CVS pharmacy to hopefully start helping and feeling important in the littlest ways.
Ever since I was little I've always been interested in making people smile. Beginning in 2009 I really found my life being wrapped up in my volunteer work at If I Had No Voice Dance Company. Being around those incredible children for 8 hours a day really gets to your heart and especially when you know that you're their role model and that they come see you to escape from the world. Therefore, I want to help/teach children. I don't just want to be a teacher, I would love to be something more rare so I have decided to be a juvenile correctional officer or a juvenile councilor of some sort. I want to help children wake up and be a better person everyday and I want to make sure they don't do anything dangerous or troublesome.
