About
I became interested in counseling while working full time as a teacher. I worked in the high school setting, and found that my favorite part of my job was assisting the students with issues outside of school work. I began my graduate program in the Spring of 2021, and shortly after moved to my new position within the school district of working with fosters students to help them feel welcomed, and successful. While working full time in my new position I became pregnant with my first child, and just gave birth to my son in February. Things were difficult being a first time mom and full time graduate student, but I am happy to say I was able to complete my first course with my son and keep my 4.0 GPA. Moving into next school year I will be a mother, graduate student, and full time worker helping children in need.
