Goals and interests

Career goal

I have always been deeply passionate about the medical field, and my love for radiology has grown over time as I’ve learned more about its impact on patient care. The ability to use imaging technologies to diagnose, treat, and monitor diseases fascinates me, as it combines technical skill with the potential to make a real difference in people’s lives. I am particularly drawn to the diagnostic aspect of radiology, where precision and attention to detail can lead to early detection of conditions that can save lives. The dynamic nature of the field, with constant advancements in imaging technology, keeps me excited about the future of healthcare. I am eager to pursue a career as a radiologist, as it offers an opportunity to not only contribute to individual patient outcomes but also to be a part of a broader effort to improve medical practice through innovation and technology.

Graduate school interests

My graduate interests lie at the intersection of bioengineering, biotechnology, and public health. I'm particularly passionate about how advancements in biotechnology, such as gene editing and regenerative medicine, can be applied to improve health outcomes on a global scale. I am eager to explore how these technologies can be used to address public health challenges, from infectious diseases to chronic conditions, and promote health equity in underserved communities. Additionally, I’m drawn to the role that epidemiology plays in understanding and mitigating the spread of disease, and I want to focus on how bioengineering innovations can be integrated into public health strategies to create more effective, accessible healthcare solutions. Ultimately, my goal is to contribute to the development of sustainable, cutting-edge technologies that can improve public health on a global scale and help bridge gaps in healthcare access.

Outside the classroom

I have a deep passion for both nature and photography. I find great solace in spending time outdoors, whether it's hiking through forests, exploring local trails, or enjoying the tranquility of nearby lakes. Nature provides me with a sense of peace and perspective that I truly value. In addition to my love for the outdoors, photography has become an important creative outlet for me. I enjoy capturing the beauty of nature through the lens, whether it’s a stunning landscape or the intricate details of plants and wildlife. Photography allows me to preserve moments and express my appreciation for the world around me in a unique and meaningful way.
