About
I am an incoming graduate student, who has earned a Bachelors degree in History and Masters degree in Liberal Arts. I have recently earned the title of distinguished teacher while coaching my first year students to regionals in both tennis and debate for UIL. I am returning to TCU to earn my Masters Degree in Business and Administration.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
As a teacher I have seen several students overcome overwhelming odds to become successful. This is especially true in the neighborhood that I teach in. My students live in a zip code where the life expectancy is the lowest in the State of Texas. As a teacher and a coach, I have partnered with several organizations to try and offset this terrible statistic. I am currently enrolling back into school to learn and network with likeminded individuals who can help me better understand how to better navigate the health crisis in 76104 zip code. I want to not only help with the access to preventative care, but I also want to work with local school districts to help increase the opportunities that the students receive to work/school programs. A lot of the schools in Fort Worth do not offer programs that keep students in school, and the expansion of technical programs at school would keep students in school and also prepare them for a life post high school. Going back for my master's in business administration would help me understand the leadership tools needed to help me achieve both of my goals.
