About

I am currently a Pre-Nursing student at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, TX. I am studying to be a Registered Nurse and hope to eventually be an emergency room nurse. I grew up in Glen Rose, a small town in North Central Texas. During high school, I became very involved in sports and organizations. I was the president of Health Occupations Students of America and was able to make clinical rotations in the local hospital. I also took many Dual Credit classes while in high school and graduated with 40 college credit hours and a 3.43 GPA. I have just completed my first semester at Tarleton State and earned a spot on Tarleton's Scholastic Honors Dean's List and raised my GPA to 3.57. I also joined the Student Nursing Association. I have gained a lot of hands on experience while doing clinical rotations, which made me realize that I want to pursue my dream of becoming a nurse.
