About
I am an African American who came to the United States in September 2014. I enrolled at the Borough of Manhattan Community College in August 2015 as a science major. After I graduate in May 2017, I would like to transfer to New York University, Lehman College, Penn State University or Temple University to do pre-medicine. I would like to be a pediatric surgeon. Currently at BMCC, I am part of the College Discovery Program where I won the Most Outstanding First-year Student award. I was just appointed as the secretary of the Research and Nature Club and the treasurer of the Science Club at BMCC. I will be doing a mentored research in chemistry during the fall 2016 semester. I plan to do more volunteering to help improve the community I live in. I am also part of the Phi Theta Kappa honors society in BMCC. I am currently under training to be a peer mentor.
