My career in healthcare began at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in 2005. I worked in the HMO Liaison Unit of Patient Financial Services as a Revenue Cycle Representative. I have since moved the Prior Authorization Unit and have 5 years of experience as a Revenue Cycle Coordinator. My experience includes certification as a Professional Coder, insurance policies, governmental medical policies and procedures for prior authorizations, and medical terminology.
