About
Working as a Certified Medical Assistant for almost a decade, I decided I need a change. After graduating with my Associates Degree in Applied Sciences of Human Services, I wanted to pursue my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology at Ottawa University. I currently live in Muskego, Wisconsin with my husband and three boys. I currently manage a Homeless Shelter for women and children who have been faced with many different barriers that prevent them from obtaining stable housing. I provide case management and community resources to help individuals identify their barriers and find ways to work through those barriers.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I would like to finish my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and then pursue a Masters Degree in Forensic Psychology and/or Counseling. I would like to see myself saving the world of poverty and addiction, although that is not realistic. I would like to continue to work with the homeless population to help counsel and identify the barriers and challenges that prevent individuals from getting out of a hard place. Helping others and giving back is my main goal.
- Graduate school interests
I would like to pursue a Masters Degree in Forensic Psychology and/or Counseling at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
- Outside the classroom
I enjoy spending time with my family, scrap-booking, country music. You can find me sitting in the sun reading a good novel or a school book, depending on the day. My boys and I enjoy looking for bugs, playing superheroes and watching movies.
