About

My name is Jake Brannen and I am currently residing the Dallas Fort-Worth area. I am a full time employee for State Farm as an administrative assistant to the fire claims department. While working full time I recently received my associates of science degree from DCCCD North Lake College campus and transferred out to attend Texas A&M - Commerce (TAMUC) where I will further pursue my education. Goals and interests

Career goal

Once I have received my undergraduate degree I would like to pursue opportunities in the marketing industry as a human resources representative or project coordinator. Although both jobs are very different from one another I believe that project coordination and staffing/recruiting of employees for start up companies are both valued position in the marketing industry. I am open to pursuing these roles outside of the marketing industry, however, my goal is to eventually be a part of a start up company and aid them from an organizational and lean methodology perspective.

Graduate school interests

Upon completion of my bachelors of science degree in psychology, I would like to pursue the graduate program at University of Texas at Arlington where I could attain my Masters degree of industrial and organizational psychology. At this time I do have aspirations as high as pursuing my PhD.
