About
I am a semi-retired law enforcement professional now pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Organizational Leadership at the University of Wyoming. As a first-generation student maintaining a 4.0 GPA, I bring both academic excellence and real-world leadership experience to my studies. My background includes serving as a corporal, instructor, and team leader, roles that demanded discipline, accountability, and the ability to guide others under pressure.
Outside of formal duties, I have consistently invested in my community—whether mentoring cadets, participating in youth programs, or volunteering in initiatives that connect law enforcement with families. These experiences reinforced my belief that leadership is measured not only by professional success but by service and stewardship.
My personal journey has also shaped my perspective. Surviving a rare, life-threatening illness and relearning how to walk gave me a renewed sense of gratitude and resilience. That experience drives me to approach education and life with determination, seeing challenges as opportunities to grow.
Looking ahead, I aim to use my degree to transition into a new career that integrates ethical leadership, organizational success, and community impact. My studies are equipping me to transform lived experience into practical influence—whether through guiding teams, mentoring others, or modeling perseverance for my daughters and community.
